Mayan Meetings

The Yucatan Peninsula, home to the states of Campeche, Yucatan and Quintana Roo (often referred to as the Mexican Caribbean), boasts some of the heaviest hitters in the meetings industry, with tourism as a major force in its economy.

Campeche State

Located on the western third of the peninsula, the state of Campeche is a welcome escape from the larger tourist populations that flock to other destinations. Mining, quarrying and oil and gas extraction are its economic mainstays.
